I hired this firm to assist with IRS income tax preparation and guidance with my Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Application for my business. There were a variety of red flags along the way which included a lack of attention to my business structure and needs, making mistakes on information that had been specifically communicated to him, and non-responsiveness. I chose to give them the benefit of the doubt and continued working with them towards completion of my tax return. At the beginning of the PPP Round 2 application period, I discovered some serious problems had not been taken into account with my tax return. This left me in a difficult quandary in regards to my tax return, the Round 1 PPP Application and the Round 2 PP Application. I contacted the staff person that had assisted me and he was unhelpful, defensive and ultimately non-responsive to my needs. I never heard back from him following my last request for help. This is most unfortunate because had he taken the interest and time to help me work through the difficult problems that he helped create, I may not have been left with such a poor impression of the company's abilities and reputation.

I’ve been bringing my taxes here for 6 years. This year they switched out who was doing them, and charged me $100 more than the year previous. This comes without the client care I’ve become accustomed to which involved sit down face to face and advising. I will no longer be bringing them my business and I am very disappointed with their customer service.

In 2016, two gals tried doubling up & overcharging me when 1 did the accounting. I was charged 100s per hour for a 10 minute phone call to make the appt with another accountant, then she also tacked on coming out & shaking my hand while I waited for my appt with the other girl. She literally just answered the phone, never disclosed I would immediately be on the clock for $200 or so per hour & it would generously be over-inflated time. A 10 minute call & 5 minutes max voluntarily coming out to say hi to me in the office was worth 1 hour 45 minutes around $200+ ph to her. Of course the other girl charged a similar rate & time to actually do the work. Gordon Beh, a partner there took "most" not all of that overcharge off, & in a nice way kept saying they don't do that there. He charges $300 ph, but I figured Id rather the main person do it right & not possibly get ripped off again by others so this year I tried to make an appt & he brought that up & he just didn't know when to shoosh & make $300ph, he would not drop telling me that didn't happen & they don't do that there, I kept trying to say its water under the bridge, but I wont allow someone to make a false statement like that. So he very rudely said well then you can go somewhere else. I would not recommend a company like this to anyone when a part owner is too arrogant to zip the lip & admit an employee there tried to rip a customer off. If you play pretend like the problem didn't happen rather than find a way to try & resolve it, things only ever get worse Gordy.

Scott Jr has been awesome and always on top of keeping my taxes in order. I very much appreciate him! And..... no one asked me to make this review. haha
