Dollar Loan Center, Murray, UT

My mother loaned from Italy she was extremely rude, told her she couldn't complete the paperwork unless it was in black pen and tried to apologize after telling her that she could go somewhere else. She was lucky I wasn't there today as I also worked for a loan company for years and know how it works, I would have had input on her service.

I went into the Murray branch today to check on my online application. After finally ending a personal call the only teller there “Italy” told me I had applied in Provo, and said I’d have to sit down and review the application. I applied online to save time as I only have a short lunch and Italy rudely replied to my question of how long it would take by saying the sooner I sat down and answered questions the faster it would be. Needless to say, I walked out.

I've been going to this location for a couple years now, my husband needed to get a loan also, we were sure surprised by how rude she was to us!! Not happy with her anymore!!!

Esmeralda was amazing to work with. Very friendly and professional. Got me taken care of quickly and without any problems. Explained everything that is required for me to do to make payments and everything.

This Business is very unprofessional and discourteous. And they do not assist those with a genuine need based on their individual circumstances. I recently lost my job due to a lay off, but was able to be rehired by the same company on a different project. However, I am unable to provide a pay stub yet as I have not gotten paid. They told me that I could not take out a loan until my payday which by that time I would no longer require the loan. I just needed to borrow a few hundred dollars to hold me over until payday! I was trying to clarify that since I was hired on by the same company, if I could use my final paycheck stub from my previous employment. The in-store agent I was speaking to was speaking over me and not listening. When I pointed out she cut me off and I was trying to get clarification, she hung up on me. Very unprofessional and very discourteous. Don't try to get help from these folks, they don't care about the individual.

Esmeralda is the best customer service I have ever had anywhere I've ever been. So happy I came into this location. 😁 Update: Still the best. LOVE this chick. I wish there was this type of customer service everywhere. Been a customer for a long time now. Super helpful and easy. Thank you DLC, thank you Esmeralda. 😊

THANK YOU ESMERALDA at the Murray, Utah branch! So friendly, kind, and helpful! There was a problem with my SSN, I called the 866 number and the call center immediately connected me to the closest branch to me and I was lucky enough to get Esmeralda. She helped me to complete my online app over the telephone and kept me informed through the day on what was happening with my app. Thanks to all her hard work and caring, I was not only able to get my money THAT day, but also qualified for more money than I had requested and still at a reasonable pay back amount! THANKS AGAIN ESMERALDA... YOU ROCK!!

Customer service is exceptional at this store. Dashney was especially helpful and professional as usual.
