Mountain America Credit Union, Park City, UT

High loan rates even for long time members with good credit who pay off loans. Long wait times for customer service phone and in person. And now they are charging fees if you don't carry a $10k balance? Doesn't run like a credit union or not for profit.

I don't want to do this bc so many of the workers have been so kind as well as the manager. But... it's gone too far. Any time we have an issue it seems to take about an hour to fix if not longer. I sat to make a cash deposit for 30 minutes. It's just too much. I have four teens with accounts, businesses etc and I'm hoping somehow they upgrade their systems for a much more efficient routine.

Isaac was FANTASTIC. My wife and I recently married and we’re stressed about our financial situation which was complicated. He truly cared that our financial health was at the forefront of everything he did. He helped consolidate my wife and I’s debt and get a car loan too. All of which we are paying less in monthly payments and have lower interest despite taking out two loans! He set up a joint account for us and put us on the right path to financial wellness! 10/10, 5 stars.

My son had fraud on his card from obviously fraudulent company and they told him it would take 3 months to research. I would not feel safe financially with them.

Mountain America Credit Union has excellent customer service with a friendly and helpful staff. We recently had our will/trust notarized, and got our college bound daughter's first credit card at the Park City Branch. The tellers are always efficient and kind. If you are looking for a new branch, or want to change banks - I'd highly recommend MACU.

I would recommend Mountain America Credit Unión to everyone! I’ve been helped very efficiently and accurately and I have been treated with respect! I line that my account number is protected and the statements only show the last few digits, other institutions show the full account number and it’s not safe if someone else had access to this number. Every time I come to this branch. The service is outstanding. From personalized problem solving, to education on credit. The most important one I value is the team takes special interest in my personal and financial success. I’ve known a few key team members, Sophia and Julianne who take special care of me every time I enter the building. I highly recommend MACU for helping others like they did with me get on the right track in following their dreams!

This branch in particular is horrible.. I have to wait 30 mins to an hr.. every time I go into the branch… just to simply deposit money or inquire about my account… the manager was more than rude last time I voiced my frustrations and the only thing he could mention is that “they are under staffed and no one wants to work here” hmmm I wonder why..
