Daniel Schroeder was absolutely fantastic to work with when my wife and I bought our first home back in November. Not only did he beat the next best interest rate we had been quoted by almost half a point, but he made the process simple and painless and took extra time to make sure he met with us and kept us well informed throughout the loan process. Mr. Schroeder went above and beyond for us, even adapting to a significant change in our loan situation that occurred the day before closing was set to occur requiring additional work and restructuring to be done on the loan. Daniel Schroeder is an outstanding loan officer! He's very flexible. At first, we thought we might like to buy a house before selling the one we owned. Immediately, Daniel began that process for us, calculating the cost, sending that to us within hours. When we decided against the idea, he wrote to encourage us to take our time, contacting him again when ready. Daniel was extremely helpful while we made offers on houses in Williamsburg. He even took the initiative to streamline that process for us, so that each time we bid, everything was already in place, and nothing needed changing. He worked with our Williamsburg realtor as well, and between the two of them, we found an amazing home that we now own--along with the mortgage company, of course. We'd moved from Blacksburg to Williamsburg in June, but signing documents electronically was a breeze, thanks to Daniel's setting that up. And he always communicated what the documents concerned, so we understood to what we were adding our names. We could count on frequent and friendly e-mails or texts from Daniel, and he's a very pleasant person. In fact, we were sorry when our mortgage was sold on fairly quickly because we'd truly enjoyed working with him. In fact, we'd give him 6 stars if we could! You'll enjoy working with him too.
