Overdraft fees are more like a big bank than a credit union. $1 overage and you charge me $32?! Scam artists. No wonder my generation is investing in crypto rather than a savings account. Your APR is a joke.

I have a car loan with this bank. The staff on the phone are very rude and condescending. Too busy talking to me like I am a child to listen to my question fully.

All phone numbers for all locations are the same one. So all calls have to go through one area. I have been on hold for over 30 minutes just to try and get a payoff on my loan. This is ridiculous. You should be able to call a staffed branch that isn’t backed up. Also finally got through and said system was down for maintenance can’t get any payoffs.

The lady at the Christiansburg Branch who sits at the desk closest to the tellers to the right is extremely rude. I will be moving my money to another bank.

We have been with Freedom First Credit Union since it changed from Salem Community Credit Union! We have nevered had any problems with Customer Service or speaking to any one on the phone! Everyone has always been professional and polite! The only thing is trying to get a large amount of money out of your account to purchase something you are buying for personal use they seem like they don't want to give it to you! It's our money we put in there we can take it out!
