If you pay your monthly bill earlier to the office they do not update the payment in the computer system. And will withdraw the amount again from your bank account. Then office personnel tell you don’t pay next month then they take it out again from your account

I called and asked to speak to supervisor and the lady said "if you would just listen" and kept talking loudly at me. And then she hung up on me. When supervisor called me back, she took up for the rep that hung up on me. If I could go back in time, OneMain would never have gotten my business. So unprofessional. If your job bothers you that bad, find another one.

There is a woman that works there named Gina. If that’s her real name because she was hesitant to say… but her level of customer service is something i would not recommend. It is a white woman that sits at the second desk on the right when you walk in. I came in, told her what was told to me from her corporate office and she was like okay and that has nothing to do with me. One Main was okay to deal with as long as you know the interest is out of control but please don’t go to the colonial heights location. The custom service there or lack of rather is poor.

I’ve had the worst experience in dealing with this branch of OneMain Financial, more specifically with Melissa Durham. I have been given the run around for 3 days now and I’ve even had to show up to the branch to attempt to get matters resolved. I’ve done everything that has been asked of me and my husband, and she has been nothing but unprofessional. Firstly, she left early on a Friday, “sick” as I was promised a phone call the same day with a loan decision. Instead, I was forced to call several times in the same day, only to reach the Assistant Manager Ashley, who informed me that Melissa had gone home sick and that I needed to upload several more documents. Additionally, Ashley informed me that I would receive a loan decision by Monday morning the latest. Unfortunately, this was not the case and I found myself again calling the branch back to back until I finally got Melissa on the phone. Her response was, “Hold on sweetie, let me check my notes from Friday”. Now by this time, it was already Monday afternoon and I was then asked to have my husband take more time off of work to speak with her and that she would give me an answer shortly after their conversation. Again, Melissa did not do as she said she would and therefore, I found myself physically in the branch location. Upon approaching the front desk, I mentioned to the woman seated there my name and whom I had been dealing with (Melissa Durham). The woman’s response was simply, “Ok”, in the most unpleasant tone. I then asked if she was Melissa and she responded yes and proceeded to ask me for even more information. I complied with her request and she informed me that I would most likely be approved for an unsecured loan for x.xx amount of dollars, but that she would AGAIN, call me later on in the day with a decision. The excuse this time around, “I have an appointment with the dentist”. Again, I heard nothing by the close of business and today presents the same issue with Melissa. Not to mention, her mockery of my husbands accent. This has truly been a horrible and degrading experience for me. I highly recommend that anyone seeking monetary assistance in the form of a loan, apply elsewhere.

OneMain is constantly harassing me with physical mail. I have mailed their corporate office the appropriate information to stop spamming me, but they still are.

This company leads you on, I was contacted by them to say I was approved and then after I’d given them everything they had asked for, they said no sorry we can’t help you!! If I could give zero stars I would!!!!! I’m highly disappointed in the way they do business Sure, maybe the people doing the business are friendly but that’s matters nonetheless when they lie to you and come to find out they’re known for lying about loans !!! Very poor business and you should be ashamed lying to people that have good credit I may add, I guess you have to make 2 million a year to use these people

Very professional and she did everything to help me. Colonial Heights is the best location to seek financial guidance.

The staff is always pleasant and knowledgeable. They make you feel comfortable.
