C&F Bank, Cumberland, VA

Very unsatisfied with consistency of posting our direct deposited pay checks. My husband's pay stub has today's date but guess what? They have yet failed again to post it into our account but yet posted over draft fees this morning. Will most definitely be changing banks for sure

I am so glad this little bank is here in Cumberland and connected to multiple other banks in central VA. It has depth and breadth in the way it is managed. I will write a little more and try not to erase all my compliments again when I have more time. A five-star bank IMHO.

I've been with this bank since I've had a checking account when I was 18. Even when it was central Virginia bank. I've never had a problem until the past 3 weeks. I've deposited my paycheck on Thursdays for a year and a half. They rejected it because the check it post dated for that Friday. I got about 6 overdraft fees. Not ro mention my job had to go throigh the hassel of printing me a new check. Even the charge of 1.00 I received a 35.00 overdraft fee. Co6.00eachuldn't pay any of my bills because they couldn't fix my account til Monday. So I got 75.00 late payments on 3 of my bills, total. This week my fiance stopped to deposit money in my account, like always, and they pit it in his account which made me over draw once again. Now they took my entire 300.00 paycheck plus I'm still in the while of 175.00. That's 475.00 in payments and overdraft fees. My highest payment was 110.00. I'm not dealing with this anymore. I love Mrs. Geraldine, me a. Anderson and Mrs. Henshaw helped a few times but she said their not refunding anything. All I could do was cry. I struggle my butt off to provide for my children (family) working two jobs and I still get done like this. I'll be finding me a new bank first thing in the morning. I can't believe they are doing this to me. If I owe it i pay it even if takes me a while because I don't wantg anybody to do me wrong so I don't do others wrong either. I will miss, me a.
