Member for 20 years. I’ve gotten multiple car loans at low rates. They provide great services without exorbitant fees of the big banks. On the occasions when my debit card number has been stolen when I’m on vacation, they provide excellent fraud response, and dealt with it right away. 100% recommended.

I have been with Loudoun Credit Union since it had a small office in Loudoun Memorial Hospital! From that time to now, I have had courteous and friendly personal service (and I have seen a lot of personnel changes in that time), willingness to help with any problems or inquiries I have had and it done with professionalism and pride in doing a job well done.

Poor customer service. I opened a savings account and made payments through automatic bill pay. The first three ones were perfectly fine. For the fourth one, my payment was confirmed by LCU. However, LCU rejected payment (eventhough I had the money in the account to cover the check) and I ended up paying late charges and interest due to LCU internal issues with their online bill pay system. They lack customer service skills and their own employees say that their bill payment system is glitchy. Unreal! Save yourself a headache and bank somewhere else.

The Credit Union used to be 5+ stars when I started in 2001. That was true up until about a year or so ago. They have since become as non pro-active as you would fear in any banking institute. I was able to do my banking as an employee of Loudoun County and stayed with them when I moved over to work for VDOT. I never got denied a loan in all my time with them. Even when I left the Department in Leesburg and was assigned to Fredericksburg, I saw no change in their level of excellent customer service.... That was until a year ago. Since the departure of Carol Caron and Darrin Meyers, it is my opinion that the credit union has degraded itself to a very generous 2 stars. Because of the lack of quality customer service I enjoyed for over 16 years, I decided to join my wife's bank where customer service still remains priority one. I have left the credit union numerous emails which, if answered at all, doesn't get responded to for days or weeks. I had 3 requests in for a credit card increase with the credit union and with eZ-Card since January of this year and neither have responded to date. I would probably still be a LCCU member if Darrin and Carol were still there. What a shame.

Professional staff. Pleasant and helpful. Always willing to give advice and help when needed. After many years being with LCU, they feel more like family than a business. Have enjoyed working with all the staff thru out the years.

Approached staff with a request for information on a home equity loan. Approved and the process was very fast. Great bank overall.
