Back in 2019, I was looking for a hard money lender to help fund a purchase & renovation. I initially was going to work with another lender but they got 'cold feet' due to the 2020 Pandemic and things fell thru. The reason I decided to work with WCP was due to all the hard work and rapport building that occured during my vetting process. I worked with 'Max' Van Vleet, who was awesome and kept consistent & open communication. It if wasn't for him, I would have restarted the entire vetting process searching for another lender. Even till this day Max still reaches out to check-in with me & inform me of any new products WCP offers. WCP also provides a consistent list of potential deals for savvy investors. I would highly recommend working with WCP & Max for your lending needs.

Working with Andrew and the WCP team has been a great experience. We contacted them to get a loan for our very first real estate purchase and Andrew helped us through the entire process from start to finish. Now that we have settled and started renovations, they've been flexible and understanding of the draws to make the renovations go as fast as possible. I’ve been working with Jarred Sleeth with WCP for a few years now, he’s always communicative and gives our company the best rates and terms on the market. He’s taken on many projects for us and helped us analyze deals to ensure they would be profitable. They always close on time and draws are simple and quick, no hassles. The sales team is great here, very personable, honest, and straight with you. Andrew Michael was always upfront with us and was very helpful through my first loan with them. The servicing, loan processing, and account management teams are not good though. They give very little service and its very difficult to talk to someone who can help you. If I wanted something done I pretty much needed to get Andrew involved. Besides the servicing and processing teams this is a great company to work with.

I had the pleasure of working with Max Van Fleet (commercial loan officer) and the team at WCP on my first flip. Being new at this “game”, I have to say Max and his team really took care of us and had the patience to explain/educate us, while still providing the highest level of customer service. Being our first flip and business relationship with WCP as well as the current marketplace we are currently experiencing, the rates were as good as they could be and Max really fought for it. The document exchange and closing processes were really smooth and we were able to close in approximately 25 days. I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Washington Capital Partner I was in the middle of a project when they suddenly decided to call back the loan. This action has caused significant financial strain and put the entire project at risk. It is clear that Washington Capital Partner is not acting in good faith. Their attempt to avoid repayment and force property closure is deeply concerning. This kind of unethical behavior has far-reaching consequences not only for me but for other borrowers as well. I strongly advise others to be cautious when considering WCP for their financing needs. Their actions demonstrate a lack of integrity and disregard for their clients' financial well-being. Such practices are unacceptable in the real estate finance industry.

My partner and I recently started our own flipping business with minimum experience. We spoke with numerous lenders (hard money and private money) and WCP greatly stood out from their competitors. Specifically, Max Van Vleet and Grant Sears have been just spectacular! With their endless support and even after many calls and dozens of questions, we easily were able to get a loan for our first flip.
