Shore United Bank, Onley, VA

Recently, I opened an account here and had a great experience. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating. Jennifer answered all of my questions thoughtfully as well. Overall, I would recommend anyone to use this establishment for their financial needs.

The folks at this bank (I've worked with Amanda and Hayley) are wonderful. And it's truly a neighborhood bank, not a branch of some giant megabank which has no idea who your are. If you want banking like this, try Shore United!

WORST BANK. DO NOT BANK HERE. Incompetent employees and horrible company ethics. I wish I could give negative stars. UPDATE: I hate this bank more than I did months ago. Inactive account? That will be a another monthly charge. Specifically ask teller if there any charges if I just let the account go. Was told no - no charges. Guess what? There's charges. They basically stole $50 from me and now what to charge me a monthly $5. I tried closing the account over the phone as I abruptly had to move hours away. I thought I would be able to close the account in person when I was able to travel back to this horrible place in person when it was convenient for me. Whelped they took that money I had in my account and now those greedy &$@*# want more money. Shame on you. Will never be a customer at United Shore again. They charge you monthly fees for having a savings account. Honestly, I don't understand all the good reviews.
