NORTH STATE ACCEPTANCE, Richmond, VA

Northstate acceptance started out as a great company I have had them for about two years. I recently ran into a problem where they charged me for a service they did provide. When asked about the charge I was given every excuse and lie they could think of to justify it, non making any sense. I have lost all trust and respect for this company and would never use them again. I do want to say the staff at the Richmond branch were awesome and did attempt to help as best as they could but corporate sucks.

I received a letter in the mail stating that I don’t have full coverage on my car in which I just called State Farm and they verified that I did. I’m also making payments on time and a representative informed me I can’t make no more than 3 payments ahead. Why? Wouldn’t you want the money for a loan ASAP? I definitely like to pay loans off fast.

I've been in contract with north state for over a year for a vehicle loan. As of today I have nothing but good experiences with this company. Thank you

Really good company. Very understanding. They will work with you, just communicate.

They are the worst they never pick up the phone and when they do the lady is rude. I am never working with them again.

My fiancé and I have been with the company over 5 years and decided to refinance with them. Be careful cause if you refinance you will completely start over. We actually tried to get a deferment for 1 month because we are in the process of relocating. After the refinance we were told we our required to make 4 payments before anything like that could happen. We said ok 5 months later tried again. ( oh you have to make a 3rd of your payments before u can do that which would equal up to six months. Ok so I’m not mad because we can’t get the deferment I’m frustrated with the fact that every time we get on the phone with this people. We hear another lie and the lies make people and companies untrustworthy. I’m sure we will be refinancing with another company. And never go with this company again

Reported my account as delinquent because of the person who i cosigned for was late on their payment. They didn't call me inexplicably for some reason like they did the other times so i can correct the issue. Then whenever its paid off they decide to report the account. That to me is bad business practices. I will NEVER use their services again.
