Today I called in about my loan with One Main and received the most unprofessional horrible experience. Karen at the Providence office literally hung up the phone on me. I am flabbergasted and outraged. I attempted to call back several times and no one would pick up the phone. I called to another office and was given the 800 number to call. I can’t believe someone that’s servicing my loan would act in such a way. The other rep informed me she’s the only person in the office and advised me not go into the office because nothing would be resolved. So basically she’s sitting in the office offering no resolve, but getting paid. So this has to be a known practice of hers to act unprofessional and hang up. I will be taking this complaint higher up possibly a CFPB complaint and much more. If this is their practice how do I know my loan is being serviced fairly it seems unfair, deceptive, and abusive . Hopefully I will have my loan paid off soon and I will never conduct business with them again, but I will definitely be taking action against them.

Mistakenly went to the wrong location to close on a loan I needed. Laura was extremely helpful in coordinating with the office I originally applied at to help me get pictures sent of my motorcycle. I'm a beginner rider and the other location was further away, which would've been a scary ride for me since I was alone. My actual loan officer called this location to assist until I could get back to my car to finish the process. While Laura was so sweet and accommodating, Karen was horrible. Extremely rude and nasty. She was the only person not assisting anyone, and didn't even acknowledge my presence when I walked in. She needs to retire as customer service is not her forte.

Unless you are PERFECT don’t get a loan from here. I will admit that I pay late. Life happens. My statement has the following on it: THOUGH YOU HAVE PAID MORE ON YOUR LOAN THAN SCHEDULED BY YOUR LOAN AGREEMENT AT THIS TIME, YOUR LOAN AGREEMENT REQUIRES THAT YOU MAKE PAYMENTS EACH MONTH. YOUR LOAN IS INTEREST BEARING WITH INTEREST ACCRUING DAILY ON THE OUTSTANDING PRINCIPAL BALANCE UNTIL YOU REPAY IT. IF YOU DO NOT MAKE YOUR PAYMENTS BY YOUR DUE DATE, MOST OR ALL OF YOUR NEXT PAYMENT WILL LIKELY GO TO INTEREST NOT PRINCIPAL. THAT WILL DELAY THE PRINCIPAL REDUCTION OF YOUR LOAN AND COST YOU MORE IN INTEREST. I totally understand the statement and it is something I have to live with but, calling and leaving rude messages EVERY DAY isn’t going to change the fact I am paying late and your company is reaping the benefits. I pay more than what is due within the month it is due.
