UVA Community Credit Union, Warrenton, VA

Making my payments every month with them is a struggle. As a military family who has moved away from the area and relies on my mother doing my banking for me, they have made it incredibly difficult for me to accomplish anything and I always have to go the extra mile.

I honestly couldn’t say worser things about this bank. Do not bank with them. They are extremely incompetent at all levels of their organization, from the tellers to their leadership.

Worst bank ever!!!! They have fought us every step of the way while my mom was in the hospital, and now more so that she has passed. I wouldn't recommend this bank to my worst enemy. Customer service is terrible, branches limited and don't try to call and ask a question, you won't get anything but a recording and voicemail for a few days. Wow, I can't give it less than a star or I would. Even when my uncle had POWER OF ATTORNEY to help take care of her bills and her estate, northern piedmont would NOT abide by these terms and locked us out completely! So, thank-you for that.

Absolutely horrible experience on Friday at the Warrenton branch. UVA is a cooperative branch for my credit union. The manager on duty was unfriendly and unhelpful. She thumbed her nose at my cooperative branch deposit transaction, asserting I was a "non-member", therefore less worthy. Her attitude also felt racist. UVA, if you don't want to treat cooperative branch members as valued customers, then don't sign the contracts with other credit unions.

Great banking experience! Staff is friendly and helpful. Fiona is wonderful to work with and helped accommodate all our banking needs. So happy that we moved our account from a national bank that we had used for decades.
