Truist, Wytheville, VA

I have met some of the worst bank tellers at the Truist banks in Wytheville than in any other bank ever! They are rude, generally unpleasant, and will gossip about you right in front of you. I changed banks years ago but I work with folks that bank here and have to use their services.

The slowest service I have ever experienced. Not just occasionally but on every visit lately. There always seems to be long lines and a lack of available tellers. There are employees in the bank just not at the teller stations. It can take 20 to 30 minutes to deposit a check. Used to be great service when it was BB&T. Considering moving my account to another bank.

There’s at least 3 tellers with very Bad attitudes. No matter what I ask for. Once I asked for change for my cash box. It began with eyes rolling & sighing from short brunette and ended with putting all of the cash and rolled coins down walking away and it was in the wrong order. I have never complained, I just ask questions. I have used H&R Block Debit cards for over a decade without using a bank. So I don’t understand some things, I should not be getting attitudes. I am starting to think they are discriminating against me.

BB&T has great service but if you plan on using the over night drop deposit between 8- 830 a.m., there is a customer that will park at the drive thru window and block the over night drop box so you can't pull up to it. This is an inconvenience.

I am traveling and asked my sister to take my checkbook by and deposit cash for me this morning. Imagine my amazement when she was told she could not deposit cash into my account WITH MY CHECKBOOK AT MY REQUEST because she does not have an account there. Disgusted with Truist. I suppose they would rather I be overdrawn so they can charge me a fee. I managed a work around with PayPal but will be looking at different banking options on my return.

At the Wytheville Branch, Donna was extremely helpful with my banking needs and the other staff member were very pleasant.
