When I went to start my small business account there they seem to have no interest in my business based on my size. They never asked questions and never made service recommendations.
We ran into a cash flow issue which small businesses do. I misunderstood the timing of deposits and withdrawals and bounced a check. I went to talk to the manager and while she did remove the fees she was dismissive, cut me off, and ended by a conversation by going back to work without saying goodbye
A manager from another bank found out we'd opened and came and visited me in person and talked about their understanding of the issues facing us and looked at what we needed and how to coordinate services to make it more cost-effective well as setting us up with a reserve line of credit.
I'm really happy with my new bank. I consider BSL elitist and would never recommend them to a small business.

I'd leave zero stars if I could. Atm took money from account and never gave me the cash. When I talked with customer service they were extremely rude and said it wasn't their issue. This isn't the first time I've had an issue with BS&L but it will be the last time. I'll be doing my banking elsewhere.

My customer service representative today (Ella) went the extra mile by changing our account type, saving our non-profit service fees. Courtesy checks were also offered, and fees waived. Very proud to be banking here.

BSB is a GREAT bank. At the main brach it is great to be greeted with a smile and a teller who knows your name in most cases and friendliness by those who don't yet as well. It is fabulous to always have a "personal banker" also. I like that BSB is local.
