Tania was and is an incredible asset for my home energy and efficiency project. She made sure I was well informed of all angles of approach to achieve and surpass my goals. We had a great experience working with Tania at Neighborworrks of Western Vermont. She helped us to secure a loan to renovate my daughters newly acquired older home in Wallingford, Vermont. Through Efficiency Vermont and Neighborworks, we were able to completely update the electrical system in a 100 year old residence. Additionally, we totally insulated the attic and stone cellar with sprayed in rigid insulation which decreased air infiltration by 41%. Thanks also to Jake at Analyzing Energy for advice and guidance through the process. As an out of stater trying to help my daughter become established in Vermont, I was very impressed with the programs that are available in that state. The agencies all work well together, and are truly committed to keeping the process uncomplicated. The state provides generous programs and players like NeighborWorks, Analyzing Energy, and Efficiency Vermont all work together to make things minimally complicated. Along with our very reasonable loan, we will receive a grant to help defray the work as well as rebates on energy efficient appliances. Vermont works hard to help young folks with limited income feel welcome. Well done everyone! Thank you.
