Terrible experience. We are building a home and occasionally have needed a document notarized. I travel during the week, so Saturdays are my only opportunity to get this done. In the past, although we don’t have an account, they were happy to assist, until today.
We walked in, no one was behind the counter but we heard voices in the back. We writhed and then walked around the corner (to your left as you enter the bank) and were told that someone would be with us shortly. As the line built behind us they finally came out to help. We told the tall blond woman that we needed a notary. She asked if we were customers if the bank. We said no. She informed us that she could not help us. That service was only for people who had accounts with Key Bank. We shared that we had been there 4-5 times over the past year, as recently as s couple of weeks ago and they were happy to help.
Nope, can’t help you. You might try the title company down the road she told us. Terrible customer service. Not a good way to endear the public and potential future customers, especially ones who don’t mind sharing our experiences on social media.
Skagit Bank, two blocks away was delighted to help.

I've been using banking services for at least sixty years and I have found that this Key Bank branch to be one of the most helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and competent branches I have ever worked with! I highly recommend them for anyone, personal or business banking!

Slowest bank in town. Never more than one teller working.

The Anacortes branch has amazing employees and incredible customer service! I won't put names of each employee on here, but they are most informative and helpful. They will suggest ideas for investment or better interest rates. They are all extremely friendly. It is a pleasure to do business with them. You rarely find service like this anymore!

This bank is scam you setup a account for not overdraft. Or so you think you are. My debit card had been hacked 3 different times in 1 year. On the 3rd time they decided to give me $3,600 in "credit" Wich was the amount spent on my account for fraud. And they never did the "credit" thing 2 times before this. Well they have now not said anything to me and they put my account 3,600$ negative. But they do it in increments they see that I get direct deposit on Friday and put my account negative $1,000 each week to make sure I don't get a paycheck it's garnishing my wages 100% which is illegal

I was accused of being a criminal by the manager Christi.
I’m a well known community member, and just wanted to clear up a double withdrawal on my account.
Beware this manager.
Her employees are all great people.
