1st Security Bank, Port Townsend, WA

I've worked with the Port Townsend First Security Bank for the past 6 years when I started my Dental Practice in town. They have always been very knowledgeable, professional, and going out of their way at being helpful in working through all the banking needs of running a business. They brought up things I didn't know I needed, and made the whole process comfortable. They are a delight to work with, and I know they have my back.

I have used two other local banks and this is by far the best. The employees are wonderful, knowledgeable, always helpful with a smile, they are funny as that is one trait that is important to me, humor. I can't say enough good about the ladies at this location.

When we couldn't figure out how to navigate the PPP loan the PT branch helped us secure the loan. It really felt like they cared about our small business and really went the extra mile. I recommend them to everybody.

I have banked with 1st Security for years, both on the personal and business side and couldn't be happier. Their knowledgeable staff helped our business weather the storm of the pandemic through two rounds of PPP loans. Thanks to their dedication to their customers and their knowledge of banking, their customers, us included, were some of the few local business that were able to take advantage of the 1st round of PPP funding. The same can't be said for other so-called "local banks." 1st Security epitomizes "community banking." It's like Cheers; everyone knows your name and they're always glad you came! I know changing banks can be an arduous process, but do yourself a favor and consider transferring your accounts to 1st Security. You won't be disappointed!

I have been with this bank since 1996 when it was Seafirst Bank. Wendy, Candice, and the team are ALWAYS there to help! They were super helpful with my PPP this spring, and answer all of my questions promptly and with a smile. I give them 5 stars!
