When I first applied for a loan through One Main Financial, I was pretty sure that I was not going to get the loan that I needed. But low and behold an angel named Shauna came in and praised and helped me get the loan that we needed. I paid off some bills and got my mom a washer and dryer because she needed one. She could not get one on her own as she is sick and taking care of her. It made my mom's Christmas and we did not have to get a second-hand washer and drier but a new one that she wanted. When I signed the paperwork, I cried knowing that my mom is going to have a great Christmas and the best part was we caught my mom up on her mortgage. That was another great gift I gave my mom. Shauna if you read this, I have not forgotten about your gift for you and the team at One Main Financial. One Main Financial and Shauna were so professional and treated us as if we were family, I know an old cliche, but it is true. Awesome people to work with. Great knowledgeable staff. The process was smooth, simple, and flexible to my needs. Everything about my loan was explained in detail and I felt comfortable and pleased about the experience. There was no pressure to borrow more Money than I needed even though I could have taken a much larger loan. They even explained to me the different ways they could finance the money I needed and worked with to find the best interest rate. I have taken loans in the past for such things as home improvement, debt consolidation, and vehicle loans. I have never been so pleased and confident when I left knowing that they really worked hard to get me exactly what I needed in a vary affordable and structured loan. My experience with this place was last Friday I contacted them on the phone they told me what I needed to bring and what I needed to go get I get back to the office and then they forgot to tell me I needed full coverage on my truck cuz I'm borrowing against it wasn't too hard I did it all over the phone in the in the parking lot my insurance fax the information over.handed them my pay stub which also had a check stub not my pay stub and the date on it did not match it was an accident typo they did one eight for the day instead of 08 for the day So then they asked me if I could come in early Monday morning I said no cuz I'm working she said she would have somebody call me on Saturday nobody called nobody called this morning I did take the morning off left my job where I have service on my phoneand it was declined over a typo about a date on my now I have full coverage on my truck and it's still sitting at a mechanic shop until I can pay for it the lady I dealt with was name is Sarah. I'm very unhappy I do not believe it's her fault but the people she works for.

I went to my bank to get a line of credit. It took them over a week of review only to decline the request on something that had nothing to do with my income, which was far more than needed for a very small business loan. I was treated very rudely. Although I had an appiontment set up days in advance, the bank didn't have time to meet with me on my day. There were no customers in the bank during this time yet neither the loaner or the bank manager, who saw me standing there didn't even greet me. They sent a Teller to tell me they didn't have the time to meet with me. This was after waiting for 30 to 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment. Very rude and I've still never heard from them. Completely different at One Main Financial. I was greeted, treat very well and they had the approval within a few minutes. Not only was it approved, the benefits that came with loan were a complete surprise to me and I was ready to sign up immediately. I'm willing to tell anyone that this is the best place to go. They made everything very simple, easy, and I was treated as a highly valued customer. Unlike Chase!!
