Peoples Bank, Wenatchee, WA

Worst banking experience I have ever had. After moving to the area for a new job I tried to start an account to support a local bank as I always do. Instead of being welcomed as a costumer, I was immediately treated like a criminal because I used an out of state check to start my account. Even after the check had cleared( meaning they physically had my money),they had contacted my previous institution, and I had started a direct deposit, they still refused to remove an excessively long, seemingly punitive hold off of my account. A manager there even doubted I had the funds after the funds were in their possession. I have lived in many placed and used many banks and I have never had an experience this bad, stay away from this bank.

I bank at the Wenatchee branch and have nothing but outstanding customer service. Ann George in mortgage is always happy to answer any questions you may have. Celine has always been very helpful too. The tellers are fast and polite. I'm always greeted by name, which makes me feel welcomed.

I have been Banking at People’s Bank for years. They are a 5 star bank. We have done commercial loans, housing loans and land loans with them. We keep our business loans and personal loans with them. They have always been a part of our life and they do what a bank is supposed to do and more.

Customer service sucks they always misinform you with the wrong information what's the point of depositing money into atm when it takes 2 business days to be able to use it i was told one business day by one of the workers. If I would of known it would of took that long I would of just went up to the couhnter and done it over desk. Really gotta work on their people skills doesn't seem they care for us that bank at people's bank

Stay away from People's Bank for a mortgage loan unless you have two plus years of employment. My husband and I got turned down because we just relocated to the valley and don't have two years of employment here.
