4 thumbs down for Jeremy the supervisor and his "I refuse to help you" attitude. I could not be less impressed. I deposited a large check from a government grant to my business account. Because the check was over a certain amount they wanted to hold a significant portion of the funds for 11 days, however the business year for tax purposes ends in 15 days - leaving 4 days to appropriate the funds. Jeremy had the authority to adjust the limit. Rather than consider the circumstances and think of the customer, he flatly said “no” and refused further conversation, other than to say that he was busy and I’d have to wait. Oddly, there are businesses who are not subject to this hold. I restate that the funds are from a government agency therefore there is little to no risk of the check bouncing. My business, however, is not important enough to Jeremy or the credit union therefore I will be taking it elsewhere. What a silly way to lose a customer as a bank - “you are depositing too much money and we refuse to work with you based on the circumstances.” As a business person, I know that the number one rule is "The customer needs to know that you care." Unfortunately, Jeremy does not agree. The ladies at the front desk are great, however. They deserve a raise.

I got my first auto loan here and with little established credit history (not bad credit) the process was what I would describe as easy. Since then I've gotten another vehicle loan and a couple personal loans and haven't had a single bad experience. My mother has also been banking here for over 20 years and never any issues. They're always friendly and helpful. I'de highly recommend especially if your getting an auto loan. Don't go to a bank when you can go to a credit union.

We have been members of Westconsin Credit Union all of our lives. They are an A+ Credit Union. They offer the best of everything, from their tellers, loan officers and everyone who works there. Everyone is very knowledgeable and helpful. We just love everything about Westconsin. I can’t see us ever going anywhere else.❤️

I have been with the Westconsin C.U. for over 45 years. You were the only institution that would open a checking and savings account for us as new residents. We have done all of our banking here. we have had car loans, mortgage, HELOC and personal loans through you. I have never been disappointed with the service. When my husband passed away, you helped me get set up with everything in my own name and assisted me with makng good decisions. I am very happy with your service to date.

IRRITATED! I am the power of attorney for my mother who has an account with Westconsin Credit Union. A while ago I was taking care of business of my mothers and had a personal check written to me, they let me cash it as i can make deposits and withdrawals. Tonight, I get to the drive up to cash a check written to me via my mothers account. The teller said she had to check with her supervisor. The supervisor said I cannot cash checks there as I can only do business through my mothers account for her. SO i was in a hurry and needed the check cashed-sat at the window for 15 minutes not giving me enough time to get to my bank or the issuers bank to cash the check. So, obviously, I could have deposited the check, then withdrew money, by the rules........ So, thanks for the waste of time and not thinking outside of the box. I guess I can move my moms account to a bank more willing to work with their customers. Thanks for nothing today.

Been with for 14+ yr. They never have approved me on anything, nor helped repair or work on credit score. Costing even more on fees when companies charge before the billing due date. Everything else here is excellent, this location having great staff.
