My wife and I were looking to take advantage of the historically low rates to refinance two properties. Was recommended to use GSF Mortgage Corporation via word of mouth, and I have got to say they were great. Timely service, willing to process loan and worked quickly (compared to large banks, and local credit unions), and delivered two refi's in just over a one month time frame. EDIT/UPDATE: The COO called me directly and assures me, again, that the issue will be resolved. She cited weather problems and staffing shortages in TX as the continued delay in resolving my specific issue. While I can understand that the current situation over the past few days could be weather-impacted, the issue has been going on for longer than just recent storms. I am hopeful that this will be resolved, but because I have been told multiple times in the past that the issue was already being resolved, I will have to wait and see how this pans out. I am updating the rating from 1 star to 3 stars because the COO did personally make contact, today. ORIGINAL REVIEW: We refinanced our mortgage in November/December 2020 and the refinanced loan was sold to/purchased by GSF Mortgage. We have had nothing but problems. For starters, there was apparently some sort of a delay in switching over the mortgage from the refinancing agency to GSF, the result of this is that we were to pay our first month of mortgage due to the company who refinanced our loan; which we did - in full and early. Therefore, our January 1 payment was paid on time. When the loan was officially sold/purchased, however, GSF brought our mortgage in showing the January 1 payment was past due; no payment recorded. It is now 2/17 and that issue STILL HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED. I have called in multiple times, only to be forwarded directly to their collections department who is unable to provide any answers or support. I have waited on hold multiple times (45 minutes +) for a customer service rep, but nobody ever answers the phone. I've called and left messages with GSF's COO, she returned my call 1 time stating that the issue was resolved. I haven't heard back from her from any of the other voicemails I've left with her, and no, my issue still isn't resolved. I've called the corporate HQ and gotten in contact with a mortgage specialist who has at least been a live person that answered the phone. Unfortunately, he has assured me multiple times that the issue with my payment will be resolved, but yet, here we are and the issue is NOT getting resolved. I will now have to refinance our loan, again, just to get away from the terrible support we've received from this mortgage company. I am not sure who else to contact to get our issue resolved, but I am extremely frustrated by the inability to get our mortgage situation resolved so we can, simply, pay our mortgage!

Best experience I've ever had with refinancing my home! Andy, my loan officer, was able to get creative and find a deal that worked for me where others turned me down. He was very responsive to all my emails and calls and he always seemed very happy to help. IdI recommend GSF mortgage any day of the week.

Andy was fantastic. He answered all of our questions in a timely manner, walked us through each step along the way, offered us advice, and support. I was concerned that getting a mortgage was going to be difficult for us after some financial issues we experienced, but Andy assured us that it was going to all work. We now are in our new home, and we owe it to GSF for helping us. Our Realtor even made a comment about how fantastic it was working with GSF. He stated, "usually if I need an answer in regards to something it will take a lender a few days to get back to me, but Andy returned my calls within a few minutes." Our Realtor told Andy at our closing how much he enjoyed working with GSF. I would recommend GSF to anyone who is currently looking to purchase a home.

This is the third time I have used GSF for a home mortgage and have had a good experience every time. I most recently worked with Josh J. He was great to work with and let me know what was going on every step of the way. The loan process went very smooth and we closed 2 weeks early. I would highly recommend Josh/GSF Mortgage!

As a first-time homebuyer, I closed my first home deal with Go Mortgage in March 2023. I had a fabulous experience with Daniel(Dan) Kahn, NMLS #289234 & Jon Lee(Mortgage Processor), in the entire process, from taking Pre-Approval Loan to closing the deal. Dan Provided a Great rate(Rate Lock in Pre-Approval), reliable service and attentive responses at every step of the Deal(Pre Approval, Document upload Portal, Inspection, House Appraisal, Underwriting & Closing). Dan continuously followed up and explained everything in the shoes of first-time home buyers prospective. If the interest rate is coming down, he updates you so that you can take the best deal. I interacted with around 5 Lenders and finally went with Go Mortgage only because of Dan's Response and informative decision in discussions matter what time you email or SMS query to him, you will get a response call or Reply on the same day-within hour. I recommend everyone to work with Dan; you will never forget the experience.
