Direct deposit with anything is a hassle to set up, they are unprofessional and aren't helpful even after going to them directly and asking for help, their online banking runs terribly and its a struggle to just login due to constant crashing. At least they have a drive thru..i guess. Don't recommend.

This bank needs a new system to notify their account holders of fees etc. I once had a debit card of mine hacked. It took me days to realize this because they only sent me notifications via snail mail. when I asked them to cancel the debit card, I also ask them to call me instead of mail me things. the debit card was never canceled, more money was stolen from me and they never offered to replace that money.
Now fast-forward a year later, I should have learned my lesson. payments were rejected from my account, and instead of calling me Hayward Union let the place to continue to try to take money out of my account, which means that I kept incurring fees from Hayward credit Union.
Today this incident itself has costed me over $200. if they had initially called me like I had asked or even sent me an e-mail, I would have only incurred a $30 fee. the system is set up so that the bank can continue to make money, people can continue to lose money.
you would think that a bank would call you if something kept trying to take money from your account over three times, especially when you had asked the people to call you instead of send you mail.

We're absolutely amazed with the professionalism that SCCU has portrayed towards my husband & I. We just took out a Home Equity Loan and not a month or two later our engine in our in our Ford Explorer blew up and seized. Thank goodness for SCCU rescuing our situation that we did not expect!

Call and connects to Superior and placed on hold till I finally hang up. 2nd time the ap has malfunctioned and not able to contact.

He made us
feel comfortable and valued as a customer during a stressful move to Florida.
