Check Into Cash, Manitowoc, WI

First off I went to cash a check there like I have in the past. I have cashed checks up to $12,000 before and the check I cashed today was $750. First they said it would cost $58 to cash it ok I understand then they said they had to give some cash and the rest in a green dot debt card. Oh ok didn’t have to that in the past but ok. So she handed me $158 in cash and put $500 on the green dot card. Told me to wait 20 minutes and I could start using the card as a debt card ok. Fist off let’s do the math $730 subtract $58 would have left $672 she gave me $658 so the shorted me money already. Then I go to use the card and I can not use it anywhere. It keeps denying any transactions. So I went back to check into cash and told them about and all they could say there isn’t anything they could do. That I need to call green dot. Wait you gave me the green dot card, you push the green dot card and you can’t even call green dot to see what the problem is. I am so unhappy with how this turned out. If green dot can’t do anything then I will get a lawyer and the bbb involved.

The staff here is great! Libby's always so happy to see everyone and always so sweet to my kids. Wendy is great as well, loved her Christmas outfit, she's such a nice lady to talk to! ❤️ They go above above and beyond while sticking to their protocol, I feel if you have a problem with them it has nothing to do with the staff or business itself but with you. Been using their service for almost a year and actually like stopping in!

This is a great place. When ever your in a bind they will help ya out. Wendy and Libby are amazing. They are always smiling and so kind. My kids love em lol. I highly recommend going here. If we ever need help again, we will come back. Great great service
