Pawnex, Menomonie, WI

I found that the place is unkept and smells moldy. I took a nearly new laptop in to them I never use it so the battery was not charged he wouldn't even look at it. I understand that the battery needed to be charged but the way he said is was so not okay. Then he proceeded to tell me that he wouldn't look at it if it wasn't charged 100%. The signs on the door said they close at 5:00 and when I tried to confirm that he said he closes at 4:00. Not a way to run a business that's for sure.

Went there today and nobody is there. Door and Facebook say open at 10. Good says open at 11. Tries at 1030 and again at 11 and nobody is there and the store is dark. Even the open sign says closed will return at 10. Idk how places like this can stay open. It’s a shame this is the only pawn shop in town. Guess I’m going to Eau claire now.

Place is not well kept, service could be so much better. I tried to sell some equipment I had for my art major, it had been barely used and was in very good shape, however the guy with chew in his mouth, would not give me a price and said he could find it online. Isn't a pawn shop supposed to be a place where you can sell your decently used items? Also the way it's run is a joke, the guy obviously doesn't care about how he presents himself. Another thing the way he responds to these reviews is in a very unprofessional manner and shows his lack of maturity. He should probably step down and let somebody else run the place.

Guy was a complete jerk. I was gonna try and sell some video game stuff and it seems the second he knew I wasn't spending money all respect for me and my girlfriend went down the drain. Absolutely terrible service and I don't plan on ever going here again to buy or sell.

Arrived at the pawn shop 2 days ago at 4:50pm walked to the doors and they where locked. No sign on the door and lights on. Tried calling nobody answered. Door says open until 5, not 4:50
