The people at FILO were very nice and helpful, but I would not recommend using them for auto loans. When FILO sells your loan to a 3rd party, they stay on the registration as lienholder. So when I was trying to sell my vehicle, it was nearly impossible to do so because the company buying it could not confirm who the real lienholder was. FILO was listed as lienholder and a 3rd party bank issued the payoff. This took two days for me to clear up before my vehicle could be purchased. I also had the bank documents signed and notarized stating they were an assignee for FILO, and this still didn't get accepted. FILO needs to change this policy because it's extremely inconvenient for consumers. I would recommend using another financial institution from the beginning just to save yourself a huge headache in the future.
