The nightmare that never ends!

Scammers...I transferred money to my account and was told they need to put a 7 day hold on it. I transferred the money because I need to buy another car. They won't release the money so I can get my car and keep working. Just a way so they can make money off of my money a little bit longer, in the mean while, I am stuck. It's funny how every time I called the branch manager was "in a meeting " and after waiting 2 days finally got a call saying there's nothing they can do. Making money off my money while I rent a car because my other car us gone. Horrible customer service and just flat out lies to cover themselves. I have 5 accounts with them and all of them will be canceled.

I do not recommend this bank specifically OR BM in general. I have banked with BMO since it was M&I and was with them for over 25 years. They Absolutly are ill equip to properly follow through with banking transaction. I suggest you keep your receipts and make sure you take names of people whom you speak with. We went in to close our account, withdrew all our money and left thinking everything was good. This branch failed to close out the account property and as a result a fraud charge of $50 hit our account a month later giving us -50$ and overdrawn notice. We got a call from the BMO fraud dept. telling us of the money being taking out of our account but this person who had the authority to stop the unauthorized $50 purchase didn't do her job and let the payment go through. Failure #2. NOW we are on the hook for the -50 and are waiting for BMO to fix their mistakes which we are told could take month. I highly suggest picking a bank with better banking abilities, higher quality staff and through follow through.

I have great rate with my car loan from them but trying to get hold of someone to make an appointment is impossible. Not recommend.
