Carried three accounts with them for nearly 4 years. Closed out all due to relocation to another state not serviced by NCCU. After accounts closed, unable to access E-statements, as I wanted to print these up. Phoned NCCU 4 times requesting them to mail month-end statement. Was refused on all attempts. Further, was advised to leave a voice message for the V.P., which I did. How utterly ridiculous! Why would you want to conduct business with this financial institution when another Credit Union is down the street? Almost feel as if I'm being PUNISHED for closing my accounts. Whether or not "someone" does reach out to me, the rating stands!

I decided to reach out to NCCU about refinancing both of my vehicles. I was dealing with Megan on both of the Refinances and I was able to get both refinances done Quickly and very smoothly! Thanks to Megan and Kristy for the help! Such a Great fast Easy transition It was! And saved some Money on top of it!

I absolutely love this credit union they gave me a great opportunity to build my credit with a great loan and perfect interest rate. As far as the google review that posted a negative comment about the atm.
That was a lie and do not use that for your own rating about this credit union. They have been around for years and are very professional. I would suggest signing up for an account and being apart of the team.
Have a good one and I hope this helps with anyone seeking a new bank.

Giving 1-star and writing this review because my friend would not.
This 1 star review is in regard to their deferral process. They pull your credit and deny you if you have any collections even if they are years old and paid off. Their staff will also flat out tell you that you need to manage your money better, knowing nothing about your situation. Rude.

This bank has to be the worst. Like literally the worst. The phone number never goes through to call them.
They literally don't give you access to your own money even after you just deposited cash.
I plan on closing the account soon. I'd suggest going to another bank yourself. If you have alot of money I'd watch it.
Most people don't even realize what's taken from you because you don't have to pay attention. But as a stay at home caregiver I don't like banks that take what little bit I have because they can't get with the times.
If I have $114 in my checking. I should be able to spend that exact amount without question. But I got stuck at the gas station yesterday because my purchase was $79. But they would only allow me to take $69. Even tho there was $114. I didn't have the cash to finish the sale. I had to drive 8 miles home to grab another card to pay for the full amount. While my account still shows this was a purchase. Can't call them at all because I cannot ever get through and I can't go there because I take care of my dying father in law. Just disgusting how this bank operates.

I have had accounts and car loans at NCCU for many years, despite having moved to another part of the state. I've tried starting accounts at local and national banks, which would be more convenient, but I ended up back here. I can talk with them on the phone, send my deposits electronically, get cash from a Kwik Trip, even buy a new car and handle the paperwork electronically. They are helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and I've had no issues.

Numerous problems with this place over the years. They block almost everything, even the next state over so good luck accessing your funds when traveling. Their bill pay is completely messed up and if they send the check too early and your money isn't in they will charge YOU the late fee. If you accidentally get scammed on a site they won't help you get your money back. Claiming "you gave them your information "
Very disorganized and unprofessional place. Stay far away. The only helpful person in this place is Kristy.
