Bank of the West, Spooner, WI

I would leave zero stars if I could. Worst Financial Institution in the World. I signed up for online statements they charged me $3 a statement because they goofed up and said they sent them, but did I get any? No. I think it was a scam. The people are extremely rude, I am going to say stupid, because they are not smart enough to be working in a bank. They do not seem to understand banking. Stay as far away from this place as you can. There are too many other choices.

Wish I could give this place 0 stars. Just drove 2 hours to try and cash a check. After I called ahead of time to some lady " very clear and elementary" of what I wanted. Response was.. no problem at all come in and we'll take care of you.. BS. Plus the lady from the get go was rude. Then smerked after giving my check back. A work pay check that's from bank of the West. Will not be banking here that's for sure

We banked with them for years and then moved out of the area. We left a CD behind with them after being told closing it would be no problem once it matured. Well, now they say we have to be there in person to close it and get our money back. That is not the way to do business with people.

Wish I could give 0 stars. This bank is terrible. The fees that they charge are unjustified. I figured out I was paying an additional $65 a month just for using the atm. If you put money into your account you have to wait several days before it's even available. Don't use this bank.

I've used Bank of the West for several years, these bankers are knowledgeable and are on top of their game. If you're looking for business banking, I'd recommend checking them out.

Since they switched to BMO it's been terrible, absolutely disgusted, noone knows what is going on, the fees are ridiculous, there's no way to cancel anything, now I have to go for a long drive just to talk to someone because the phone does you no good taking to someone across seas that don't know anything about banking. I would give a zero rating if I could, their app has no benefit besides seeing what your account is at and what they surprise charge you a month.
