I took a loan out years ago and had problems paying back because of the high interest and my job situation changed. They got a judgement against me and a few years later i was able to pay of. Only problem was they didn't report it to the courts so now I have on my record and no one will return my phone calls to get it fixed. Very frustrated!

I had multiple loans with this company. They were great at first but when I had an issue with my bank account they decided to take me to court. I had a perfect payment history prior to this and that didn't matter in the least. I sent in a couple of money orders and when they didn't call I assumed they had received them. I found out they didn't when they had someone serve me papers. I contact them immediately to discuss the issue and they made it seem like they would work with me. I offered to make double payments for the remainder of the loan but they refused. I sent a letter of dispute to them and the court and was told we would have a mediator come and help us work it out. The court and universal lenders decided to not accept my letter of dispute and when ahead with the court date without me there and are going to start garnishing my wages. Anyone who has to get a loan stay far away from this place because they do not care about anything other than money and enjoy screwing people over.

I had an account with them in 2015. They are still reporting as an open account even though it is closed and has been since 2016.
