Member for 20+ years. My debit cards printed account # wore off in a few months, magnetic strip wore off over a year ago. My chip finally fell out 1 month before my replacement card was due to arrive. Since I had no way to access MY MONEY, I called TACU to ask if they would send me my new debit card immediately. Nope, they wouldn't send it early. They charged me $10 to replace my non-working debit card. I had no access to my account for 10 days while I waited for my replacement card. TACU does not care about their members. I am very disappointed with the way TACU has gone down hill.

BANK ANYWHERE ELSE!
Repeated disappointments, unwillingness, and inability to assist. I have not had ONE SINGLE positive experience the entire time I have had an account with TACU. They are ridiculous and go out of their way to inconvenience you out of YOUR money. Find a duct taped cardboard box on the side of the road and put your money in that. You would have access to your money and it would be a heck of a lot more pleasant than any of the workers here!

The Tomah Area Credit Union has been amazing for my wife and I. The friendly professional nature that they work with makes you feel comfortable through all your banking needs! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for banking needs!

Awesome place to bank at.
I have not had anyone that wasn't willing to help me if I had any questions.

This is a commie bank. They limit your ability to make purchases as they see fit. For example, utilizing your card making online purchases from a foreign vendor. That includes businesses located overseas. Get this, you are vacationing overseas and try to use an ATM, they don't let you use an ATM to get money, nor do they let you use your bank card for purchases in an overseas store, despite the fact that you let them know exactly where you are going to be and when, and where you are going to make your purchases/which ATM you are going to use. It happened to me! Before I left, they told me I could use the bank card. It worked for the first week and then, all of a sudden transactions not allowed.
Unless you bring a bunch of dollars to the foreign country and find a bank that converts the dollars into their currency, you are screwed beyond belief!!!!!!! And all this "due to high fraud activities"......piss poor security I would say.......So sad, time for another bank.......

Only things I got against this banking business is that they don’t allow online purchases! Ex. Uber or sending money and their excuse “ due to high fraud possibility puts the bank in danger” not really from being a personal banker in the past unless their security is poor!
