Peoples Federal Credit Union, Nitro, WV

I had a good experience with them a few years ago. They were kind and helpful. I wish I knew the lady's name who assisted me then because I'd be more than happy to work with her. This time I tried applying for a vehicle loan, and the woman I spoke to was rude and refused to assist me with my concerns. She also kept telling me I was wrong when I was speaking about my own personal experience with them in the past. I guess I'll be switching to a new credit union for this loan.

Although overall I love People's, there have been many times where I have left messages for someone to call back with no return call, or have called many times in the morning when I know they're open and it's saying the lobby is closed. I work bankers hours which means that I cannot come into the bank every time I need to make a payment and my husband is an OTR trucker. It would be nice if there was some consistency so we don't spend days trying to make payments on our loans.

Everyone in both Nitro and Cross Lanes have been nothing but 100% awesome. Very helpful in all my banking. Super customer service. We are always been made to be right at home. We know we can count on them for any and all banking needs. Betsy, Christina, and Lorrie are my go to ladies.

Peoples FCU is one of the best CU’s. All the staff members are very friendly and answer you promptly with all questions. I use them for all my banking needs, always lower rates as well!
