RUDE! I will never have an account with them again. I’ve banked with them for over 5 years, never asked them for anything. I paid off a big car loan & have always been in good standing with them. We’ve been struggling lately, as everyone has, & they’ve hit me with 3 overdrafts in 2 months ($75 total!!!!) I tried to explain my situation (out of work, no car, etc), & asked if there was anything they could do about the overdrafts, or even if they had overdraft protection I could enroll in (I literally started crying just because asking that was humiliating). The guy in the collection dept was one of the rudest, most condescending people I’ve ever dealt with. He not only had absolutely ZERO empathy, he actually CHASTISED me for over drafting & said there was NOTHING they could do. Little man, you have NO idea what is going on in peoples lives. And the way the world is, you think people are over drafting ON PURPOSE?? The absolute NERVE of this person blew me away. If I could give NEGATIVE stars, I would. BEWARE, bank elsewhere!!!!

I wouldn't NOT recommend this bank to anyone!

I have used both locations in Parkersburg, WV. Both are very professional and helpful, although the Southside Parkersburg location is like no other. The tellers are very friendly, always with a smile, just as if you were walking into your own home. I always enjoy taking my check in to deposit it! On Southside they treat you like family!

I was a victim of fraud. I promptly reported it to law enforcement and the credit union. The credit union treated me like the perpetrator instead of the victim. They ignored federal consumer fraud protection laws and drained my other account to cover the fraudulent charges. The credit union hid behind their lawyer and refused to act in good faith effort to assist in recovering from the fraudulent charges.

WV Central FCU ... member appreciation is shown every day. As a member, you are more than a number, you are a priority. I love my credit union! They have all the bells and whistles but have not forgotten the value of personal service.
