Summit Community Bank, Salem, WV

I went to cash a check a friend had sent me because I'm out of work and do not have a bank of my own my husband has an account there...well the bank teller had the nerve to ask me what I did for a living!! Excuse me that was very rude and unprofessional never in my all years of banking had I have a bank teller ask me that!! Last I check it was there job to just cash the checks not be in my personal business. Where in from in DC that person would have had gotten a much more rude comment. I am still insulted days after the event!!!

This is a friendly hometown bank. Everyone is personable and helpful. Cheryl is particularly invested in supporting me with all my banking needs. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

The tellers are always friendly and know most of their customers by name. Great small town bank.
