Bank of the West, Douglas, WY

Crooks!!! I wish I could give them a negative review. I do not have an account with them and never will. Tried to cash 2 checks issued by this bank and they wanted to charge 10 dollars each. It’s their check!! Because I don’t have an account with them they expect me to pay to cash it. I am a business owner in Douglas and will start charging extra for Checks from Bank of the West. If you have an account with them please close it and find a new bank.

I don't have an account with Bank of the West. I was thinking about getting one but know I will never do business with them at all. Here is the reason why. I used there ATM out side and for no reason at all there ATM kept my Debit Card. I went in side and asked why and that I wanted it back. The manger of the bank was rude and gave no reasonable explanation why and gave me Excuse after excuse and raised her voice and was unwilling to give me the proper way to make a formal complaint. So i had to call my bank and report my card as stolen. This bank is gets a 0 for customer service.....

As a non Bank of the West customer its appropriate to discuss business with someone else at the drive up when they attempt to cash a check. Also, said check, drawn on Bank of the West, they will charge $7.50 to all your folks wishing to cash it even though they can clearly see your account, avoiding potential holds from my my bank, thankfully, my bank accepted it willingly. Thank you Converse County Bank.

Friendly employees, easily accessible location. The wait, however, can be unbearable, and unlike most other branches of this bank, they are only open Monday thru Friday. The branch in Casper offers services until noon on Saturday
