SCAM ALERT!!! If you have a loan or are thinking of getting a loan through Liberty Finance you need to be aware that when they call you and say “you have money here and you also get to skip next month payment” this actually means you are unknowingly starting your loan completely over!!!! I say unknowingly because not a single person who works here ever hinted at this when you go to pick up your money. I was told “well you signed the new loan when you came in”….when I came in I was told I was just signing to let them know I had received the money. I was also told they should have been explained all this to me…to which I let the branch manager know that not a single person had even explained, or hinted at this! The only reason I found out is because when I went to go pick up more money that they said I had the lady just kept saying “new loan” as if I knew exactly what she was talking about. Then I start asking more questions and find out that every time I’ve received money from them I started over on my loan! I borrowed $1000 a year ago because I was in an awful spot after I lost my job and these people are making sure that you don’t ever get out of the hole you’re in! It’s a SCAM!!!! The branch manager said there was nothing she could do to make it right. I still owe nearly $1000 after a year of payments because of their lies and unwillingness to make this right.
