Wilson's Pawn & Sales, Searcy, AR

I was $50 short of the $800 I needed to move into a new apartment. I brought in a handful of old coins to see what they could do for me. Instead of taking advantage of my lack of knowledge regarding my coins—Mr. Wilson and his team told me to hold onto the bulk of my items and they suggested I simply pawn a couple of the coins. They could have swooned me and had me risking the lot. I was told, “I’m not interested in gathering people’s things, I’m interested in gathering customers by being honest and fair.” I thought to myself how counter that was to the typical shop like this. I will be back.

I cant recommend anyone ever do business here. They insulted my intelligence by giving me the absolute worst offer in the history of offers for my stuff. THE WORST. Baffling service also. Two young kids running the place. I brought in a new 9mm Canik handgun and a like new Nikon DSLR camera to sell or trade. I wanted to trade it all for a Glock 17 they had on the shelf, and also pay any difference with cash. To be fair, I already figured my stuff wasn't worth a whole lot, I wasn't really expecting a great deal on my stuff anywhere I ended up going. But this place wanted me to give away my stuff for free apparently lol. They offered me a pathetic price for my gun, but their excuse for the insulting low ball price was because they are too stocked up with guns at the moment lol.... But kid... I'm there to also BUY a gun lol.... A much more expensive gun too. So that excuse is a whole lot of worthless. Same story for the camera. Too many on the shelf... I was ready to spend some money for a fair trade, but I would have been much less insulted if they had just told me they didn't want my stuff or my business lol. The price they gave me was beyond sad and pathetic. So... I took my gun to Guns Plus in Searcy and they offered me a price that is absolutely fair and worthy of a trade, even though they also told me they have too many and didn't care for Canik too much. But, they really talked to me a lot and worked with me on the trade and purchase. They were incredibly helpful and nice. And the price they offered was fantastic. I got my brand new Glock 17 and I highly recommend doing business with Guns Plus in Searcy on guns. I will never go to Wilsons again.

This place needs to learn there laws they lost a real good sale today because they don’t know there gun laws an they was beyond rude

I give Wilson's Pawn 5 stars because they are amazing! Their prices are extremely fair and they have such a variety of items available. Guns, electronics, musical instruments, jewelry, coins, tools. They have just about everything you can expect them to have. And when I say their prices are fair, I mean it. They are very professional, you can expect your transaction to go very smoothly. Their store is very clean and organized. The staff is very helpful, polite, and knowledgeable. I would recommend Wilson's to anyone. Forget all the stereotypes about pawn shops, Wilson's will exceed your expectations in a very positive way. I will continue doing business with them for all of my pawn shop needs.

Got a few silver coins as a gift and it not being 1654 I decided to sell them. The staff looked the price up for me, tested the coins and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes money in hand. This is the third time I've been here ( once to buy a revolver, another for a tv ) and this is the third time I've received excellent service.

They dont care about the customers situation...even long term customers...ive shopped there for over 5 yrs...to them it's all about the $$. Go to any other pawn shop...their all the same. Boy was I wrong in trusting them..no longer doin buisness there.
