California Check Cashing Stores, Concord, CA

I worked with Lily yesterday and she was great! She got my account set up quickly and gave me all the perks/services that the business offers. I'm not sure if you guys give rewards/bonuses but she had top tier customer service. Thank you!

That was my first time in there and just to cash a money order they did everything but ask my grandmother name. And just to cash a money order was outrages, but that's OK at least I got it cashed. I'm gonna try and get a cash advance there, nuts that they have my profile in their system. Let's see how it turns out

It literally took me 4 or 5 trips to cash ONE check….and over a month of my time. First the branch manager made me request the check to be re issued cus it had some wear and tear from my purse and part of my name rubbed off a little, then when I go back, she says she’s never seen me before and then tried to tell me I had to request a check to be re issued yet again with a new date on it…even though it was from the end of June and it was only a few weeks later( which is only cus they made me have it reissued! Lol they even called the firm who issued the check and verified it was legit and there were no stops or holds on it…and still would not cash it! This new reason being because I had TRIED a mobile deposit through my bank but it was denied and cancelled and I showed proof of that as well….well they decide to make me come back yet again…cus I guess they thought I was gonna use my magic powers to uncancel the check at my mobile bank….I get they have policies, but the people next to me were cashing all their checks with no questions asked and I’m standing there for the fifth time not being helped. The attitude of the branch manager was confrontational and condescending, finally a very nice woman came and asked me a few questions and got a clear explanation from me about everything goin on and apparently she be the only one with common sense and human decency cus she had no problem cashing my check given the branch manager call to verify it one more time,wonder why the manager was making it so hard and this random lady had the last say but I’m so grateful she did cus I was about to call the better business bureau I have never had so much trouble in my life cashing simple check. And the rude attitude on top of that made it worse, I should not have had to deal with this for an entire month wasting gas to go there multiple times for them to just get their act together and help me…especially after verifying everything with the check issuer and looking at my personal bank statements….cmon u don’t have to love ur job but bare minimum respect and kindness is kind of part of the customer service deal and it was not a one off…I’m sure she’s a badass at home but I giver zero facks about her childhood trauma I don’t treat people that way shame on y’all lol didn’t have to be so hard and awful of an experience but I finally got my money but I will not be goin there again to cash any checks def avoiding that negative energy so rude so difficult but I give the nice lady five stars cus she did her job right and was kind and quick …think some of the others are in the wrong line of work lol rude! “I’ve never seen you before in my life” Bullshite! She refused to give me her name the first time as well lmao

Don’t go there, it’s a waste of time and money. I went to cash in a check and I was told they would charge me 8$ To cash it on and it was raised to 50$. Would rather just go to a bank.

Don’t go to waste your time there. They often have problems in their system. I wonder why they keep this location open by paying the rent ,expenses and don’t provide business.

I enjoyed my visit at the California Check Cashing location. Carly helped me patiently, and she also remembered me from my previous visits which made me feel welcomed. Thank you Carly for your five star service!
