Okay let me start off by saying the customer service was great and they have a easy and simple process to what you want to achieve. I had gotten approved for a loan the next day I applied for it but I respectfully explained to the loan officer that I wasn't looking for an ARP % that was too high. She then gave me a 35% ARP which was absolutely bananas considering my credit score plus my debit to income ratio as well. The one thing that did bother me was that she had lied to me, stating that a hard credit inquiry would only affect my credit score for a few weeks. Do not trust somebody that will lie to you over the phone. FIY it affects your score between one too two years depending on your situation.

I had heard of One Main Financial, but had never had any person to person communication with them. I will say this, from the person that set an appointment to the, Merced office for me, to the representative that help me get my loan approved, were very curious, with very simple to understand various options & give you answers to any questions you have. They were so kind, they even reached out & went as far as mailing. W/stamp, a bill, I screwed up trying to pay it online. A very relaxing atmosphere, with everyone around that office, will help with any questions or anything, regarding your business there. The representative that helped me, was very efficient along with a easy to understand description of the segments in receiving the loan. Thank you very much, for helping me out of the situation I was in. It took a lot of stress & depression, away from me. This is a 10 Star financial company by far! Again? Thanks. Customer, Jim D. I was so shocked at how fast the whole process was. Not only did they help me at a difficult time but were so professional and answered Every one of my questions. I have already recommended Onemain to anyone that will listen. Thank you so much for making me comfortable.

Requested a pay off amount and the $ amount was over a $1000 more then what they say is what I owe when I made a payment. But getting the loan was easy and no hassle.

Honestly One Main Financial isnt bad at all, i went there about 6 months ago to take out a personal loan and everything went smooth got my money right there and then. The only reason why im giving it three stars is because after taking my loan i got a call 2 weeks later saying that they needed to keep my car title and that they would give me a check with certain amount of money. To make long story short untill now i havent received a check and all they say to me is that they got a new system, that they will call me back in a certain day and never do and nobody knows how to use the system or that they're too busy. Thats the only reason why i give it 3 stars everytime i call its something different.
