I have banked with Umpqua from the time that they 1st started, they were good, people are very friendly, but trying to get thur to them on the phone is extremely difficult over 3hrs

Too bad Umpqua is going the direction of the big banks that don't care about their customers. Don't be fooled to think your little neighborhood bank is going to do their best for you. Contact me if you like for details. As much as I tried to get someone to listen to me .. nope .. no call back, no insight beyond what the computer tells them .. no courtesy for someone who has been their customer for 20 some years. Needless to say I am cancelling my account.

Had a few disputes going on, and the ladies working in the evening were very patient, and proceeded to call and made sure I knew what was going on after hours. I was impressed by the effort in maintaining the relationship with their customers, and assuring I felt safe at Umpqua banking.

Worst bank I've ever had and the worst banking apps I've ever had. I've used them for several years and I'm cancelling everything. Absolute garbage. A completely inferior product in every capacity to any other bank you could choose.
"Best bank in the world." Is one of the most laughable things I can think of right now.

Since Umpqua bank merger their customer service is non-existent.
