California Check Cashing Stores, San Bruno, CA

WHY is the service here so slow?? Does anyone here know how to efficiently do their job? I pull up with my daughter so she can cash her check and spent over 30 minutes for the process to complete. YES she's been here before to cash checks. YES she was thee only one there until a line grew. Like what is the issue here? Is anyone competent enough to do this job? This location is the most convenient location for my daughter yet the very slowest of all California Check Cashing locations ever. Very VERY inconvenient! Unless you have 30 plus minutes to kill, I'd advise never come here.

I came here to cash a check. I didn't have the phone number to the company that wrote me the check. They were very aggressive with their questions. Pressing me like I'm suppose to know. Felt like I was getting attacked. I'm just trying to cash my check. Took like 15 minutes to get my information. Finally I got them the phone number. Just to hear them say they won't cash my check. Horrible service. Never again will I come here

They won't cash your check and the service was very slow

I unfortunately have to use these folks now and then to get me through a week. The tellers are all very nice and do the best they can. My problem lies with “The single manager” that does Auto Registration. I’ve been told on 3 separate occasions when he would be here. So after 2 times that he “was not” in, i call before I go there. I am told the manager comes in at noon. So I come at 1:30, and guess what, the 1 manager that starts at noon (who does Auto Registration) already went to lunch (1 1/2 yo already get a lunch)? Really?

Terrible customer service. Highly needs improvement. The staff kept me for over an hour and the manager Lupe was present for cashing a check I had kept for a month. They refused to give me their contacts as I had valid reasons on their operations. They said they called the verification service to verify the check but they didn’t. I personally called and they picked up. I guess they were just ready to go home as they looked stressed. Customer service is key, be honest and open. I really felt like loosing it, but kept my peace and walked out. I’d recommend other places, not this branch.

I have been a client of California check cashing stores since 2001. The transactions and Loans have always been very satisfactory and tremendously helpful towards my financial situation. I’ve always been treated with respect, and privacy. The staff members are all terrific, ready to help always smiling, and always providing good professional service.
