This place is a joke. They want to low ball you on items. If you try to sell them something, they'll take it for very very low price than what it actually is and than they'll sell it on their end for higher, for more profit...I dont understand how their still in business, bad reviews all across the board.

Wish I would of read the reviews before I went into this store! Rude and condescending.

Just purchased a firearm and ammunition. The customer service was great! Bobbi, Laura and Michael were awesome. As a team, they answered all my questions and concerns. Very knowledgeable. Definitely had all the right answers. Will definitely be back!

Just had the most bizarre interaction with the old guy behind the counter. I asked to see a rifle. He didn't know anything about it so I asked if I could see it. He demanded my license. I put my firearms license on the counter and he got really snippy. I put my drivers license on the counter and he put the rifle on the counter but said "don't touch it. People who know will know." To which I replied but you didn't know what barrel length it was.... at that point he said I didn't have enough money to buy it.... ???? Really? Not even close bud. I am doing very well for myself thanks. So at that point I just left. Even though I was pretty sure I wanted the rifle.. not from him. Never again, go to Get R Gun. Better prices and friendly knowledgeable service.

I have not been to a pawn shop in almost 10 years!! I chose to come Diamond Jewelry & Loan, Jewelry repair, PAWN SHOP. Located in Santa Maria on East Main Street and Miller street across from Wells Fargo. Definitely would not recommend in any emergency or hardship. I brought my brand new tablet in ($899.00) a laptop, electric sander, portible air tank, and even A higher end OBD2 SCANNER that does European and domestic diagnostics, and abs controls. The employee did not know value, and did not know what any of most the tools and items were, except the laptop...... I let them know my dad is being released from ICU and ,I would do anything to be able to drive up to northern California, to be with him as he passes at home. Not to mention he's alone... This has been the first pawn shop that was uneducated and had absolutely no empathy for the reason of attempting to say goodbye to my father, and support everything and anything he needs in these next few days.... They offered $15 total and said " she had no interest in the other items" The shop was empty. We got rushed out (DUE to wanting to close early). Completely devastated and would recommend craigslist or other shops! Well worth it to try another place! Very disappointed.

My first time here and was greeted very kindly by Laura and Bobbi. They were very professional and courteous. Even Laura's son was very professional and friendly and accommodating in customer service. Bobbi, I enjoyed her directness and blunt forwardness. As in turn, I am the same! I needed a loan and I brought in several of my small arms and rifles and a few miscellaneous things on top of that. Bobbi took the time and explained to me the entire process of the loan in detail and in return in how to reacquire my firearms once the loan is paid back. For what I was asking for a loan, Bobbi and Laura came close to what I had requested. I was very satisfied to where I did not feel "low balled" the way others not so satisfied customers in the reviews have put it? "People its the business when it comes to (PAWN - DO YOU ALL KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS), remember that! Your not always going to get what you think is the amount you feel is the amount you deserve?? That's the nature of the business and how it goes. Accept it!! As far as what the last 3 reviews had to say about Diamond Jewelry & Loan. I don't know what store they walked into, but I had no experiences like that whatsoever? Think they may have walked into another Jewelry & Loan store and gotten their thought processes tangled up with another place. I was very impressed with the store and their collections of everything. Overall the professional performance of the staff. Thank you so much for making my first time visit a gratifying and satisfying experience. I would recommend them to anyone who either wants to sell items, need a quick loan or just browse the store to see what they have. Cheers....

When I think about pawn shops, I think about bottom feeders who do nothing but take advantage of people who are trying to get by. This place doesn't disappoint. They lack knowledge of what is brought to them , they have pompous attitudes, and the selectiveness in which they offer "loans" is predatorial. Not to mention how prejudiced I was made to feel. ** A word to the wise -- Do not use their services **

The manager had a very uninviting atmosphere and attitude. She Low balls your items to get herself the most profit possible. (Older lady with glasses)
