I've been banking with academy Bank for about 8 years now. They've always been on top of it. I've gotten alerts for fraud purchases. I've had to get three different cards because of their alerts and they were able to stop transactions from happening. everybody down there knows me, so if I call the bank, they know immediately who it is, which is very convenient.
I have recommended Academy Bank to both friends and family.
So much so, I should get a kickback.
I'll keep banking with Academy Bank for years to come. I highly recommend Academy Bank.

My wife and I became loyalty customers
of Academy Bank and had mostly
positive experiences until we did business with their Heloc Loan Dept.
We were buying a new luxury home
in Monument Colorado.
Former Mortgage Manager Laura Deluzio was excellent and it went very smoothly. Due to our home that we were selling was paid off we were doing a Bridge loan, hence the 2nd loan. We are both retired with significant investment income.
We soon discovered Branch Manager Jasmine Smith was tragically
inexperienced and totally mishandled the entire loan process. In addition, she
literally became unavailable for 10 business days due to “medical reasons” and our loan never happened? We never heard a word from Academy Bank
until we finally after got a denial letter a month after the closing? We had to
transfer $240,000 from retirement accounts in order to buy the house on the day of the closing. Chuck Frederick
stated we were not being truthful about
us incurring any Capital Gains. So typical from pretentious unprofessional bankers! We never got any relief evervfrom anyone at Academy Bank.
We contacted local VP David Choe who also offered NO relevant answers along
with VP Chuck Frederick who flew in from the Home Office in Kansas City
offering to make us “whole”?! Both of them initially were very hopeful but ultimately took NO responsibility
as we incurred over $20, 000 in Capital Gains taxes. They were both highly disrespectful and implied we
were somehow at fault along with supervisor Loan Officer Laura Deluzio who did excellent work on her loans.
She ultimately resigned from Academy Bank and we closed our multiple 6 figure accounts.
Please NEVER use Academy Bank for any loans. Their Branch staff are courteous and professional but their
Management staff are completely disrespectful and unprofessional.
Kansas City based VP Dan Farmer, VP Chuck Frederick and Colorado based
VP David Choe all were useless in providing any answers to us.
Use any other Mortgage company but please avoid their Loan Department.

Academy has been a great place to bank all due to Jocelyn’s excellent and amazing customer service! I cannot thank her enough for all she has done for us in accommodating our banking needs. Life gets busy and having her there has been such a blessing to us when there were things we did not understand, she was very knowledgeable and assisted us every time. So patient and kind. Academy Bank, you need more staff like Jocelyn. She is truly an asset to your company!

Academy Bank has been good to me. If I have questions or concerns they have always taken the time to listen. Then when appropriate answer and/or resolve those same questions and concerns. The tellers and managers are very friendly and will say hi even if I am just walking by their counter. I like banking at Academy Bank.

Jocelyn is my favorite person ever! She goes above and beyond for her customers! A true gem! I’m live here now but 2 years ago I moved away to Colorado Springs and still stuck with academy bank because of her, she still handled my accounts even being so far, she’s very dedicated! Great service for years with this bank!

I’ve been banking at the Littleton branch for many years. Everyone at this location is wonderful to work with-especially Jocelyn. Most recently, there was fraudulent activity on my card. Academy Bank was on top of it and alerted me so I wasn’t damaged by the charges. I highly recommend the Littleton Academy Bank.

I have been banking with this branch 10+ years and during this time the staff has always been friendly and helps with whatever requests that I have from locking myself self out of my online account to having fraudulent activity on my debit card. Definitely have recommended this branch to friends and family.
