Very easy access. The security guard scanned my DL and I showed my bank card. The ATM is located as soon as you open the entry door on your left and bank branch is go in and take a right. Easy access.

I do not know what these other people are talking about I have been to this location and you do not need a military ID to get in. I DON'T HAVE ONE. They are always courteous and helpful, best banking experience I've ever had and that's the truth.

This Navy Federal is inside the Coast Guard vase and you MUST have a valid military I.D. in order to get on the base in order to access this banking institution. The space that this bank is in is small. The ATM is located inside the doors of the MWR/NEX building before you reach the bank. You enter in the(2 sets)double doors and turn right to reach the bank. The staff here are wonderful and very helpful. I got my 4th home loan from here. Never a problem with any banking here.

Drove all the way from Hamden to find out that this Navy Federal location is inside a Coast Guard base and that even when you are a member and a veteran you cant go inside to use the atm or bank unless you have a military ID. This is crazy, why will you have a Navy Federal inside of a base when not all veterans have a military ID? I will be changing the credit union. I cant use the location it is useless to continue membership.

You don’t have to have a valid military ID despite what other people have said. Yes you can go there with just your drivers license! This location specifically not the submarine base!

I've been using this credit union over 20 years. They are wonderful. Their service and kindness and attentiveness to a family member with special needs who banks there is commendable.
