When it comes to fraud/ scams they don’t protect enough . I went to make a payment and found out it was not the actual site. Quickly noticed 2 transactions I did not authorize . They told me to contact their number and try to fix it since I initiated the transaction before they can do anything …they told me to call the scammers which were asking me for my social security ! Such a joke . I am going to def go to another branch .

worst charter oak I've ever been too. been a member for 10 years. everytime I come to this branch they try to force me into direct deposit. which i won't do due to I like to keep my cash on hand. then even though I cash the same check every 2 weeks and the computer tells them so they dont want to cash mine because I don't have enough in my account to cover it. since when did you need money to cover a check before you cash it. I thought the bank had the money that is in my check. I will never visit this branch again. worst charter oak. I wish I could give it no stars.

We have had troub ok e woth this credit union since the moment our car loan was purchased by this credit union. When the account was active, we had several instances where were were called being told payments were not made and each time we had to provide them proof that we had in fact paid the monthly bill..in person...at the killingly branch. After the loan was paid and the account and we received the title we continued to get phone calls telling us we were not making payments. Since that resolution, we have requested repeated to have our number erased from all phone and marketing lists and again today, we have received a marketing phone call. I will NEver again work with this bank.

This is for Charter Oak overall, not a specific location. Poor IT support and I have had a very difficult time simply getting paperwork from them to close out an account.

Love Charter Oak. Janice and Becky are fantastic and we e joy doing our banking there. Highly recommend.
