I'm only putting 1 stars because I cant put "0" stars. From the SECOND I started this cash advance process, now mind you I've never had to do this ever in my life, this lady was rude, condescending and I've NEVER felt so humiliated in my life. DONT EVER GO TO THIS AMSCOT again. Go to the one on South Florida where there are WAY better people and they took care of me after these two ladies didnt do NOTHING. They were working on February 5th, 2020 at 8:00 AM idk there names but I hope someone higher up sees this and actually does something which they probably wont.

Rudest Amscot. Just because it looks like I dont speak Spanish doesnt mean the two female associates, Gormarie and another one who wasn't wearing the name tag, could talk trash about other customers about other clients and myself. Joshua should put a stop to it and make them tuck their shirts in-no one wants to see their plumber cracks. Also, 3% of $10 isnt $3 unless one of them doesn't know math/english/policy correctly.

Ashley and Walter were very non-responsive to customers needs left us standing there while they talked amongst themselves and laughed and giggled and finally came to the window to ask if they could help us very poor customer service didn't like it at all would not recommend that store

My experience was trash. I never leave reviews but my visited warranted one. I went into Amscot to cash a money order. Simple enough right? Immediately I’m met with their employees asking me why I took so long to cash the money order and what did I receive it for. I’m not beyond being questioned but it definitely wasn’t the greatest start or any of their business. The money order was less than a year old. I bank online so that made the cashing process difficult since essentially no brick and mortar Western Unions exist in my area. Here’s the kicker. They had me fill out a financial services agreement which gave them all of my information including my SSN only for them to come back and tell me that they could not cash the money order for some arbitrary reason. How do I know it was arbitrary? I’m glad you asked. The employee actually told me that whoever she called on the phone was going to cash it but decided not to. Granted, the money order was tattered looking but it contained numbers on it that would’ve verified it was legitimate. Additionally, I’m black. Maybe it had no impact but the reader deserves full disclosure. I will NEVER be back and I will ensure I stop anyone I know from every doing business with Amscot, let alone this store.
