Fifth Third Bank & ATM, DeLand, FL

This is the worst bank ever!! I swear. Ever since i got the account i cannot use my zelle and i keep hearing that my security score Is at high risk and should wait 24-48 hours and I’ve even waited and week and still nothing for months then their ATM took my cash i was depositing at a branch and even though it was at a branch it took me 2-3 weeks to get back my money. I have been a customer from July and its been ongoing I'm fed up

Do you have a different address for mailing? My check was sent to the bank for DDA but was returned to the post office because its says address not found. Please whats your mailing address?

Closed my account months ago and have been waiting on a check for my remaining balance and still haven't got it. When I call, they pick up the phone and hang up eithout saying anything. Worst bank ever.

The Fifth Third banking institution overall exudes an air of professionalism that I hadn't received prior to my relationship with them. I was very impressed with the branch manager Mr. Carrillo as he was very informative and knowledgeable of how I should navigate overall to grow my business and expand on the different services that the bank provides.... Keep up the GREAT work!

I've done a bit of banking in my lifetime, and prior to my engagement with 5/3 banking professionals have done what they said they would do with my money. So opening an account with 5/3 proved to be a poor move on my part in trusting that the bank manager and personal bank representative would fulfill the promises that they made. DO NOT TRUST their word, verify each and every transaction, each and every statement, and each and every term and clause.

Fifth Third Bank used its discretion to close my account in 2018 because I made repeated cash withdrawals after my boss deposited money into my account via wire transfer. These services should not be offered if they are grounds for having your account terminated. I initially left a one-star review because of the things I stated in the previous paragraph. I just revised it because this branch isn’t to blame. One time I made a withdrawal from the drive through here and accidentally left with the plastic container thingy that gets sent through the evacuated tubes. I called the branch half an hour later and let them know what happened. I told them I would return later that day with it. They called me 90 or so minutes later, inquiring about my status. I told them I was on the way right that minute and wasn’t far. Aside from having an employee breathe down my neck that one time, I never had any problems here. I used the lobby and drive through numerous times without issue.

I’ve had two awful experiences at this branch. Each time I walk in nobody says hello, they just look at you like you have two heads. Today I went in for a check and the same woman I’ve had a previous issue was there, as well as her coworker. I walk in, they stare at me without saying hi. I ask for two checks, which I’ve been able to get before at another branch, and the woman says she is unable to do it, which is fine, but at least make your customers feel comfortable. I feel like I’m walking into jail when I stop by the bank. Nobody smiles, they make you feel like they’re laughing at you and that you’re stupid. I can’t believe I trust these people with my information and money.
