Amscot - The Money Superstore, Sanford, FL

The associate Brenda is very unprofessional. She try’s to administer this humble roll but over all she uses her posterior to miss treat customers. I have been coming to this location since I was 19 I’m now 28 years old and I have never experienced having to be out last after patiently waiting my turn. I will not be coming back to this location and will seize all accounts I have with this location.

Worse customer service. Asking for id for a money order and asking why is for. Like is their business what I do or don’t with my money.

I've had ok experiences here. The money orders are free, there are places to sit, and the store is well-lit. It's awesome that it's open 24 hours. Staff is courteous. The only thing I would change is how to line up. It seems like there should be one line with the next person going next and so forth. I was told tho, to just go up to any window and wait for somebody to show up, which seemed really dumb to me, but I did it and eventually someone did show up. When in Rome...

There are friendly, nice workers that work there and then there are not so friendly, rude ones that work there. I watched a worker give a guy nothing but attitude and they had a heated argument. Then when she was done with him she turned to me and didn't greet me or say hello. She acted like she didn't want to help anyone or work. She was clearly upset about something else. Had a horrible encounter with her and I spoke to the manager and he was sarcastic and rude. He stood there with a cold demeanor.Here's a tip: don't work in customer service if you are into servicing customers. Those two are unprofessional and rude. The amscot by walmart is way nicer than the one by save a lot. You'll save a headache that way

Normally don't have a bad experience at this location, but today is a new low. I went close to 4am on Nov 15 to find nobody working. Lights were on, door was unlocked. I waited inside about 5 to 10 minutes before leaving since I didn't see anyone around, no one came out. I thought this location was open 24 hours?

My mother went to this location to purchase a "Sunpass Pro". She went into the store with a picture of the type of Sunpass which she wanted to purchase. The man who assisted her instead sold her a "Sun Pass mini" even though she stated numerous times that she was traveling to New York and needed the one she had in the photo. He repeatedly told her that both the mini and the pro did the exact same thing and that if it turned out to not be the case he would refund her the cost of the purchase. The back packaging of both items clearly stated their differences. The pro is needed in EZ Pass states such as New York. When she went to the store the next day with the unopened item and the reciept, he refused to give her a refund. It turns out that this man who provided such terrible customer service, and had this "know it all" attitude is actually the store manager. His inability to provide his customers with what they are asking for as well as his inability to keep his word is a problem for anyone one let alone someone who is in a position of leadership. The female employee who was there today and witnessed the exchange between this person and my mother actually stated to my mother that she remembered him saying that she could return it so she understood my mother's frustration. However, no refund or apology was given. Instead he insisted he was right. Regardless of being "right", He stayed she was free to bring it back but then refused to accept it. Terrible Customer Service!
