I went to the amstar on Bee Ridge road in Sarasota Florida. I requested money orders and the cashier Internet repeatedly asked me what the money orders were for, if I had any documents to support why I was sending this money,I went to the amstar on Bee Ridge road in Sarasota Florida. I requested money orders and the cashier Antoinette repeatedly asked me what the money orders were for, if I had any documents to support why I was sending this money, and if I would be sending more money orders and what balance if any I would still need to send to them. Totally violated my privacy making me look like I was a criminal when I work hard for my money! I will make sure to get a lawyer now because they violated my civil rights and did this all in front of other customers! Do not go to Amscot! I will be sure to make this even more public with the BBB and the Media.

Maybe you should hire people that know how to do their job. And when someone is helping customer you dont just walk away and help someone else. I'll never come here. If you are thinking about it dont waste your time. They cant even verify accounts. Been employed to the same company for 8 years with the same bank's with direct deposit and they cant figure out to match and verify. My entire Christmas is now ruined.

AWFUL!! DON'T GO HERE!! My fiance went there to cash a check my brother had freshly written for us and they denied cashing the check because they wanted BANK STATEMENTS and other private things to cash the check! What's the point then? I'd go to the bank then! When I called the store, they told me to call corporate and when I did, the woman I spoke to YELLED over my questions and then lied about being a supervisor! The woman was a total psycho. I've never had that particular problem and over the years, I've cashed more then 50 checks there. I've had other problems but that was the worst. That woman should be fired!

Customer service training is needed. The teller was rude to the point where I asked if she was okay. She was like a cop first thing she says is where's your ID. Then just talk down to me. Come on amscot do better

They make you feel like a criminal right off the bat. They treat you like you are completely uneducated. I've delt with amscot in Zephyrhills for years this one in sarasota is ridiculous off bee ridge rd should be shut down. DO NOT GO HERE EVER!!!! If you have to go further to a different location do it.I will be from now on shame on this location and shame on there corporation for allowing this behavior to be allowed.

I use the Bee Ridge Sarasota location exclusively and make a point of visiting when Antoinette is working - she is friendly, professional and is an example of what customer service should be!
