I enjoyed working with Michael Forslund on getting our mortgage loan. As first time buyers, we were skeptical at first, but his professional attitude and explanations made us feel comfortable to work with him. He gave several valuable advices and made excellent plans to make sure our property acquisition went through. We started talking in the summer of 2021, and ended up purchasing our house in March 22. Through out Michael kept in touch with us regularly on a bi monthly basis initially, then more often towards the final weeks of the purchase. Overall everything was explained and well handled, I would highly recommend Michael for new buyers in the market.

Michael has been a great boon for our house buying process. We are so appreciative for how easy he made everything. His online portal makes getting the papers together easy, and he was extremely communicative throughout the process. One of the things I did when I began the hunt was look for somebody who wouldn't be pushy while still moving the process along, and Michael was good at following up when we had employment changes, without ever pressuring us. He has wonderful staff who assisted with ensuring all our documents were together and our rate was fair for a mortgage. His e-sign of the closing disclosures also ensured that our closing was easy and went off without a hitch. We are loving our home and it is all thanks to Michael!!

As first time home buyers, we went into the process knowing nothing at all and expected to get somewhat screwed over just because of our lack of knowledge. THIS WAS NOT THE CASE! Michael answered all of our questions during all hours of the day, he was so quick to respond and to provide items like the pre-qualification letters to our realtor so we could put offers on homes immediately. We were super honest and transparent with him and he was with us, we even referred to him before making any purchase before closing as we didn't want to mess anything up with the process and he always graciously answered with his advice. We closed on our house exactly 3 weeks from putting our offer down and although we had all of the boxes checked on our end, it wouldn't have been possible without Michael and the team on his end putting in the work to get things done for us. Everything was done electronic and the dashboard is really easy to navigate and refer back to. Their fees were lower than any other company I found and Michael being local was an added bonus. We would highly recommend Michael as a lender and will use him in the future if we decide to move on.

We were first-time homebuyers so we knew very little about how to buy a house. Michael was very patient and explained everything really clearly and made the process seem easy. He was able to help us figure out what we can afford and how much we should expect to pay. He revealed from the beginning the real cost of buying a home, including home insurance, mortgage insurance, property taxes, closing costs, etc, so there were no surprises at the end. The final prices and payments were very close to his initial estimates. He also recommended a great realtor for us. Michael was very helpful, honest, trustworthy, and professional, and we highly recommend him!
